You Moved Us

From Stephanie

This week I, a very avid and extended breastfeeder, was moved by Maria Bailey’s great take on support for all mothers- even if you feed your baby formula- at Blue Suit Mom: And The Silver Goes To…

From Veronica

Julie Q at Mental Tesserae muses on the nature of children’s hurts and healing in this post that weaves bandaids, mirrors and classical Greek art together. She makes me feel more merciful to myself.

From Kelly

As we gear up for the school year, I’m making tons of decisions for my children. Some of them they like (yes, we can continue taking karate), some of them they don’t (yes, you’ll have to go to school in September). I’m finding that making these important decisions for someone else is hard work that often leaves me second-guessing myself. That’s why I loved this post from Shaun Groves called You Never Know. He captures the angst yet ultimate responsibility of a parent.

From Beck

I loved this post by AmandaRoyal Resuscitation -a deeply moving look at the joys of motherhood even in the midst of grief. She’s a lovely, lyrical writer and her love for her daughters is a radiant, beautiful thing.

And she (amanda/me) is so very blessed to have readers like Beck, who never let me feel alone and always celebrate with me.
