I want to be healthier — both physically and spiritually. So, I am going to eat better, lose weight, pray with all my heart, and be more present for my children.
I am going to be a better Mama to my babies and in so doing, be more worthy of the love they give me.
My resolution this year is to live a simpler life. I want to take the tough economic times in this country as a blessing and an inspiration instead of a burden, and do all I can to find joy and peace in consuming less.
This is one of the most profound statements; one I really needed to read and contemplate. Yes, admitted perfectionist here. Trying to be a reformed perfectionist. I’m wondering if this is your personal quote so I may quote you on my blog. Thank you! Happy 2009
Megan, I’m not much for resolutions, but this is just perfect.
Steph
Beautiful. Just perfect! 🙂
Seems to me that you have that perfection thing nailed down. Wishing you and yours a wonderful New Year!
What a beautiful thing! I cannot possibly have any resolutions as good as that. 🙂 God Bless!
Megan, this post is beautiful. The photos. The words. Possibly the best resolution I’ve ever heard of.

So precious. Perfection is God…and simply delighting in His perfect love and gifts…oh nothing is better. I do hope to remember that.
Just wrote my New Years Post http://snurl.com/99itw. You have such a beautiful family!
I think we should all share your resolution! I don’t typically make them because I know I will break them within the week 🙂
I absoLUTely LOVE this!
Hugs,
Steph
Loved this. I’ll just go ahead and co-opt it as my resolution too. Thanks!
